Get to know Jodie.

Hello, I'm Jodie.

I am a dedicated dental hygienist whose passion for oral health spans more than 26 years and continues to grow. I was raised in a small town in western Nebraska before attending college and graduating from the University of Colorado School of Dentistry in 1999. I continue to practice full time as a dental hygienist while expanding my commitment to patient care in new and meaningful ways.

A few years ago, I worked in an airway-focused dental practice, where I cared for many patients diagnosed with sleep apnea. Through this experience, I became deeply aware of the challenges many patients face when trying to comply with traditional treatment options such as CPAP therapy or mandibular advancement oral appliances. While these treatments can be effective, I recognized that they are not well tolerated by everyone.

Driven to find alternative solutions for patients who struggle with conventional therapies, I began my journey into myofunctional therapy. This path has allowed me to continue caring for patients by addressing the root causes of airway and oral function issues rather than relying solely on symptomatic treatment.

Although sleep apnea initially sparked my interest, I now understand the wide range of conditions that can be improved through myofunctional therapy. I am passionate about educating patients and empowering them to achieve improved airway health and optimal oral function.

I invite you to explore my website to gain a deeper understanding of how myofunctional therapy may benefit you. I look forward to meeting you and guiding you on your journey toward better breathing, better sleep, and better overall health.
