Learn about myofunctional therapy.

What is myofunctional therapy?

Myofunctional therapy is a personalized, noninvasive program that uses exercises and behavior modification to improve function, strengthen, tone, and improve awareness and coordination of the tongue and facial muscles. It promotes proper tongue posture, nasal breathing, lip seal, chewing, and swallowing.

By improving oral muscle function, myofunctional therapy can help treat common myofunctional disorders and reduce snoring, and sleep-related breathing issues, including sleep apnea.
